Who can join
Anyone can join, there's only one requirement:
You'll just need a bank account that can receive Australian dollars for your payouts.
You can recommend Syla to your friends and family.
If you're an industry influencer, then you can recommend to your audience.
How to join
To join the Refer and Earn program, just sign up for a regular account on Syla, and navigate to the Refer and Earn page.
Here you'll find your unique referral link which you can immediately start sharing with others.
You'll also need to complete your account setup before you can receive any payouts.
Note: We recommend starting the account setup immediately to ensure all purchases are correctly attributed to your account. Any purchases that occur before account setup is completed will need to be manually requested through support.
How to refer
For the referrals to be correctly attributed, the customer must click through using your unique referral link and sign up. The referral will then be attributed to you. Once the customer purchases a plan, you will earn the corresponding commission from the referral.
You can test that your referral link is working by clicking on it yourself, or testing in a private browser. When you click on the link, and then navigate to the sign up page, you should see the discount amount displayed at the top of the sign up page.
Tracking commissions
From the Refer and Earn page you'll be able to see the following:
Sign ups: the number of people who have signed up for an account using your unique link.
Purchases: the number of people who have signed up and purchased a paid plan using your unique link.
Once your account setup is completed, you can click on the Manage Payments button to view your commission payouts.
Earning commissions
Commissions are earned on successful referrals that purchase a paid plan:
The referred customer must sign up within 30 days of clicking your referral link.
If the referred customer has signed up through multiple referral links, then only the first such referral will be valid.
Commission is earned on the first payment from a customer.
You must complete account setup including your bank details, to receive payouts.
Fees charged by our payment processor will be subtracted from the payout.
Commission payouts are processed monthly to your nominated bank account.
Refunds or failed payments from a referred customer will not be eligible for a commission.
Case Study - Earning your first $100+ AUD
You use your unique referral link to refer a friend.
They click on your link to signup, and later purchase the Tax Saving plan.
The Tax Saving plan normally costs $249 AUD.
After the 10% discount is applied, the actual amount paid is $224.10 AUD.
The fees charged by our payment processor are also subtracted from this amount. For example, if the fees from our payment processor are $4.65 AUD, then the remaining amount is $219.45 AUD.
We'll split this amount with you 50:50, so your portion would be $109.72 AUD.
Our payment processor charges an additional fee from each payout, currently 0.25%.
The final amount you receive in your nominated bank account will be $109.45 AUD.
