How to manage multiple accounts and multiple users in Syla

Updated over a week ago

It's simple to set up additional accounts in Syla and invite others to have access to your accounts.

Anyone can set up new Accounts in Syla and invite other users to get access. Use a second account for your partner, Trust, Company and/ or SMSF so you can conveniently access them from one login.

Accountants: set up an Account for each of your clients, invite them and easily manage everything under one login.

How to create additional accounts

1. Go to the Accounts page in Syla.

2. In the top right, click Create Account.

3. You'll be asked to enter a few details for the new account. Don't worry, you can always change these later from the Settings.

Nickname is an optional reference name for the account.
โ€‹Accountants: use this to enter an internal client code that you assign to each client.

4. You'll see the new account appear in your list of Accounts that you have access to.

5. Log in to the account by clicking the Open button on the left side of the Account.

6. The name of the current account appears in the top status bar, and in the left sidebar, so you always know which account you're currently viewing.

Quick account switcher

Use the Account Switcher as a quick way to switch between accounts.

1. Click the quick account switcher button in the top left corner of the screen.

2. Use this menu to quickly find and switch to an account, create new accounts, and navigate to the Accounts page.

Inviting other users to your account

You can also invite others to your account.

1. Navigate to the Settings > Members page.

2. Click on the Invite Member button.

3. Enter the email of the member you would like to invite to the account.

4. Select the Role that the member should have. Roles give different levels of access to the account (read more on Roles and Permissions).

5. Click Invite. They'll receive an email where they can easily accept the invite.

5. Once the member has been invited, you'll see them in the list of Account members. Once they accept the invite, their status will change from Sent to Accepted.

From here you can also change their Role and remove them from the account.
